Daniel Globa, Deputy Director for Legal Affairs at YouControl: "Cooperation with counterparties from aggressor countries is undoubtedly risky due to extremely high probability of negative financial consequences, operational losses, damage to reputation. This is primarily due to the application of Ukrainian and international sanctions. The sanctions mechanism is designed in a way that bans and restrictions are automatically applied to companies cooperating with those under sanctions. Thus, Russian, Belarusian, and Ukrainian companies that have connections with the aggressor countries are "toxic," and cooperation with them means indirect support of international aggression since military expenditures are being funded by the taxes they pay."
